    Government Model: The Governors of Cities other than the Capital are nominated by the President and elected by the Assembly, the unicameral legislative body that also serves to keep the President and their Secretaries in check. The President is popularly elected, and can freely appoint individuals to Cabinet positions to help with managing the state and to serve on an advisory rule. Presidential Elections are held every fourteen (14) real-life days, and incumbents can serve a maximum of three (3) consecutive terms at a time. Legislation, motions, and proposals can be proposed by any citizen of the Republic within the Assembly to be voted on.

    Constitution of the Republic of Zealia:



    We, the Citizens of Zealia in the lands of Mysto, with the steel will and determination to form and establish a land united by common interest diverse in many different ways, and yet truly free, all come together in the interests of protecting the ideals of liberty and democratic governance, and with the final goal of world unification through peaceful and diplomatic means under the values of freedom and justice for all, upholds, protects, and forms the Republic of Zealia.



    1) The rights of the people of the Republic of Zealia shall not be infringed unless specifically prescribed by law. No citizen may be stripped of the right to vote unless duly convicted of a crime and incarcerated.

    2a) All citizens are free to pursue the employment they wish to, free from the government forcing one to do so. Employment will be regulated only in that one receives adequate pay for their work; that work is available and fair; and that the work, or any part of it, is not criminal in its nature.
    2b) All citizens are entitled to these basic rights: The rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the freedom to petition the Government for the redress of any and all grievances.
    2c) All citizens are entitled to these basic items: The rights to their own housing and the land around it up to, but not including, any and all surrounding road(s), food, and at least one of each type (not class) of unarmed vehicle designed primarily for transportation. The ownership of more than one residential facility in a city is forbidden.

    3) No damage shall be dealt to either personal, public, or private property, or any property leased to other nations or entities under any circumstances, regardless of intent.
    Laws where prescribed and in reference to the Zealite Penal Code may lead to the indefinite forfeiture of part or all parts of this right.

    4) All citizens have the right to bear arms (Including, but not limited to: swords, axes, bows, crossbows and magic wands). Violation of any part of the first Article is grounds for the forfeiture of this right as stated within the Zealite Penal Code.

    5a) An official may not enter into, nor onto, a citizen's place of residence or personal property (i.e. home, apartment, business, etc.) for purposes of search and/or seizure, nor may a citizen be arrested and/or detained without an appropriate warrant or order issued by the Justice. (See Section VI for details on property law.)
    5b) Personal property shall be defined as one's primary place of residence, storable items, and one or more of each type of vehicle (land, air, and sea). All of these shall be protected from government and non-governmental organizational seizure as per the appropriate provisions in this Constitution. All of this type of property is protected by the government, but must either be stored on one's residence, in any storage unit or entity owned by an individual, or on their person.
    5c) Private property shall be defined as a for-profit entity's collective ownership of one or more facilities that are not state-owned, nationalized, or personal property. Such items include corporation-owned-and-operated buildings or facilities, corporation-owned vehicles, and items mined specifically for corporate entities. These shall be protected from governmental seizure as per the appropriate provisions in Section I of this Constitution.
    5cI) Private military hardware may be owned, however its location and purpose has to be reported to the government. Seizure of the private military hardware can result from any of the following reasons:
    *If a state of martial law has been declared, or should a motion be passed by the Assembly.
    *If it is found that the owner of the hardware has been managing it in a way that breaks any laws set out by the Zealite constitution
    5d) Public property shall be defined as both state-owned property and property that belongs to the people as a whole, protected from claims by non-governmental organizations. Such items include all items within government buildings, all farmlands, all horses, and all animals. (Military hardware (such as armed and armored vehicles, and cannons) falls under public property, but the government may place restrictions on their use and transportation.) No item may be taken from any of the protected locations above by a non-government organization without permission from the President or the governor of the city it is in.

    6a) The only way a warrant may be issued is if there is obvious proof a crime has been committed, or if there was reasonable suspicion one was committed by this person(s). An arrest warrant must state all charges being issued against a person, or group of persons, while a search/seizure warrant must state any and all reasons and suspicions for the searching of any property, whether it be public, private, or personal. Property, items, or items found on property seized without a warrant may not be considered as evidence during a criminal investigation or trial, and must be returned to the location where they were found.
    6b) A warrant for one's arrest may only be issued by a majority vote from the Assembly.
    6c) Detainment lengths after arrests but before trials shall not exceed forty-eight hours, no extensions. Extra-judicial detainment or arrests are forbidden.

    7a) No physical hostile action may be taken against another sovereign entity by any citizen of the Zealite Republic without one of four prerequisites: a state of war having been officially declared towards said entity by the Zealite Government; a state of war having been officially declared towards Zealia by said entity; a point in relations between another entity is reached where hostilities are inherent and intentional; or where one's life, limb, and/or assets are placed in jeopardy by any foreign entity.
    7b) For a casus belli to fall under the fourth clause of Article 7a, a citizen of the Republic of Zealia must have been openly attacked either verbally or physically by a foreign entity; threatened to be killed, or otherwise killed by a government-employed individual (defined as a government official or member of a nation's armed forces) or privately-employed (defined as a corporate official or member of a for-profit entity's defense organization) individual who holds citizenship within the sovereign entity they were assailed in, and/or forced to surrender to their nation or to a government or for-profit official within the sovereign entity.

    8) Slavery and involuntary servitude are prohibited in all of their forms for all beings. Non-human non-plant entities shall be collective property. Gardens and their inhabitants are public property, and the removal of non-hostile creatures from gardens, while not a criminal act, is frowned upon.

    9) No citizen, or person residing or otherwise located within the Republic of Zealia is above the Law, or shall be recognized as above the Law. Any governors or the President shall be considered to have any extra-legal status, and all individuals holding citizenship within the Republic of Zealia shall be held to the exact same standards as their peers when breaking, or when found to have broken, one or more laws.

    10) No citizen may be stripped of their citizenship without either being charged and convicted of a crime worthy of exile, or without a two-thirds majority in the Assembly voting for their removal.

    11a) The rights to propose resolutions in the Assembly, engage in dialogue or debate these resolutions, and/or vote on resolutions, shall not be infringed or denied by National or City Governments or their employed officials, or by any person from any nation, even during states of war, except under all points stated in Laws 11b and 11c.
    11b) Ineligibility to vote falls only under the following situations: One is either proposing any form of amendment to either a City Law Code or the Constitution; is not a resident of a city amending their Law Code; has been a resident of the Republic of Zealia for a consecutive duration of two weeks or less; is either the defendant, plaintiff, or judge in an ongoing trial; is an alternate account; or falls under any clause mentioned under law 11c.
    11c) Convicted and currently incarcerated individuals may not propose resolutions, make motions in the Assembly, nor may they vote on resolutions. Convicted individuals who have been released from prison after serving their sentence can legally propose resolutions and vote once more. Individuals convicted of treason, war crimes, or crime(s) where they have acted in a fraudulent manner (such as embezzlement) or an overtly violent act while holding public office are no longer eligible to run for, be appointed to, or otherwise hold such a position. Convicted officials released from incarceration may vote once again.


    1) The committing of, or engaging in the acts of murder and/or manslaughter, is strictly forbidden. Punishment ranges to forfeiture of the rights stated in Law 5 of this Section to capital punishment, depending on perpetrator's interaction(s) with authorities.

    2) The committing of, or engaging in act(s) of theft, is strictly forbidden. Punishment ranges from returning the stolen items and paying fines to both the victim and the Government of the Republic of Zealia, to exile, depending on the value of items stolen and perpetrator's interaction(s) with authorities.

    3) The committing of, or engaging in acts including, but not limited to, discrimination by gender, race, orientation, social class, and/or ability to use magic or class of magic is strictly forbidden. Punishment is a fine paid to the victim, the amount of the fine depending on the perpetuity and severity of the discrimination not to exceed five thousand (5,000) coins.

    4) The committing of, or engaging in the act(s) of embezzling government money for personal purposes is strictly forbidden. Punishment is a fine equivalent to double all of the money embezzled.

    5) The committing of, or engaging in act(s) of piracy is strictly forbidden, and all who partake in pirate raids, bank robberies, impressment of seafaring individuals and/or hijacking of ships, or other acts deemed by the Justice to be of a pirate nature including, but not limited to, supporting or supplying pirates with any materials or monetary units, is strictly forbidden. Punishment ranges from triple the value of all items stolen or destroyed to exile and/or death (depending on the severity of the crime).

    6) Engaging in threatening behavior by means of word and or deed is strictly forbidden. Punishment is a fine paid to the victim, the amount of the fine depending on the perpetuity and severity of the discrimination not to exceed five thousand (5,000) coins.

    7) The committing of, or engaging in the act(s) of, brutal treatment towards individuals, regardless of whether they are a foreign or Zealite national, or an incarcerated individual from any location, is strictly forbidden. Brutal treatment is simply defined as torture by any means, and/or the unauthorized use of violence against any individual currently located within the Republic of Zealia. Punishment ranges from a fine of one-hundred thousand (100,000) coins to exile, depending on the severity of the crime. If one or more acts of brutality directly results in the death of the victim, the sentence shall be death for the perpetrator.

    8) The committing of, or engaging in one or more acts of treason is strictly forbidden. Treason is defined as the betrayal of one's country for the benefit of another country, one's self, and/or both, and one may only be charged with treason if one openly works against the government's aims (but not its agenda) by means including, but not limited to, attempts to overthrow the sovereign, subvert democratic structures and principles, or "sell out" one's country to another sovereign nation, criminal entity, or enemy of the state. Punishment ranges from a fine levied at the discretion of the Justice not be less than five-hundred thousand (500,000) coins for each charge of treason to death.

    9) The committing of, or engaging in, one or more acts constituting of war crimes or behavior thereof, is strictly forbidden. War crimes shall be defined by decrees passed by the United Empires AND by Zealite Law, recognizing the former has higher jurisdiction. War crimes are defined as actions that defy international laws regarding the activities of war. War crimes constitute treasonous activity, and shall be treated as such, though the Republic of Zealia is obligated to honor all requests for extradition to the authority of the United Empires for those charged with war crimes.

    10) Engaging in one or more acts of espionage on behalf of a foreign entity is strictly forbidden. If the perpetrator is a citizen of the Republic of Zealia, they may be charged with treason. If the perpetrator is not, they shall be detained indefinitely pending negotiation with their country of citizenship.

    11) The severity of all punishments provided are as follows (from least to most severe):
    Fines to Victim; Fines to Victim and Government; Fines to Government; Revocation of Right to Bear Arms and/or Armors (permission to own, but not display publicly except during wartime; Short-Term Incarceration (not exceeding three real-life days); Long-Term Incarceration (exceeding three real-life days) Death; Exile; and Death plus Exile. These punishments and their severities shall not, under any circumstances, be considered lightly by the incumbent Justice.



    1a) The President is the highest elected office and the most powerful office within the Zealite Republic, but is limited in power by this Constitution, and the Assembly.

    1b) The President shall serve as the Head of State, the Head of Government, and the Governor of the Capital City.

    2a) Actions and responsibilities specifically delegated to the President are as follows: The President can veto legislation that lacks a three-fourths majority vote in the Assembly; create, regulate, and destroy parcels; grant and revoke permissions within the empire; set foreign policy; engage in diplomacy with foreign geopolitical entities; grant citizenship to immigrants, asylum seekers, or refugees; serve as the voice of the nation in the United Empires; suppress insurrection, sedition, and treasonous activities; and serve as the Supreme Commander of all Zealite Armed Forces.
    2b) The President can delegate their Presidential responsibilities (as elaborated in Article 2a) to their appointed subordinates, and/or committees formed from members of the Assembly. Members of each committee are appointed by the leader of the committee who has to be a elected officer of the Republic as per Section 6 of the Zealite Constitution. All appointed members of any committee will not be forced to give up control over any corporations or other non-governmental entities.

    3a) Actions specifically restricted (i.e. forbidden) to the President are as follows: Suspension of any part of the Constitution outside of the declaration of Martial Law, or restricting the civil liberties of any citizen(s) within Zealia that have not been duly charged and convicted of a crime outside of the declaration of Martial Law.
    3b) Martial Law consists of the following: Suspension of all civilian rights within Section I Parts 2a, 2b, 4, and 6, with enforcement at government discretion; the ability to veto any and all resolutions and proposals that exceed a supermajority but are not unanimous; and the ability for the President to suspend elections for a duration not exceeding one (1) week.
    3c) If Martial Law lasts longer than two weeks, a Presidential subordinate (e.g. a Secretary) may rescind it without any ramifications, and another state of Martial Law may not be declared for another week unless the country is in a formal state of war. Additionally, Martial Law may only be declared during states of war, insurrection, civil war, or prolonged chains of terrorist or pirate activity (after two successive and/or successful pirate raids). Martial Law may only be declared by the President with approval from all Governors and a 2/3 majority in the Assembly.

    4) Actions not specifically stated to require approval from the Assembly are enumerated to the President. As such, "executive action" may be taken in these areas so long as it abides by all Laws and regulations set forth within this Constitution.

    5) The President may appoint two "Consuls" consisting of two Government Officials of their choice (with one as a "first among equals" that serves as the Speaker of the Assembly), but this may be delegated to another Consul to manage the nation in their absence for an indefinite time not exceeding the incumbent President's term, or until the President relieves the Consuls of their termporary duties. This arrangement is for periods of Presidential absences, and is hand-selected by the President. (If it is not hand-selected, a snap election must be held.) With this arrangement, executive power is shared between three individuals. For declarations of Martial Law, both Consuls must agree to it as well as one other government official, with all standard laws and regulations for Martial Law applying.
    5b) "Government Official" in this case refers to a Secretary, a Governor, or the presiding Justice.

    6) Tasks undertaken by the President may not infringe upon the rights of the individual or of property except where applicable under Law.

    7) Upon becoming president an individual must release ownership of, or leave any non-governmental organizations/companies they were apart of/owned.



    1) The Assembly is the unicameral legislative body within the Republic of Zealia. All legislation that is proposed goes through this Assembly, and to the President to either sign into law, or to veto.

    2) The Assembly is comprised of all citizens within the Republic of Zealia. Each citizen, regardless of Government employment, receives one vote.

    3a) Any citizen may motion to propose a resolution, and if at one person supports this motion then the President may ask for opposition to this motion.
    3b) If there is no opposition to this motion within a set period of time not less than one (1) hour or more than twenty four (24) hours, the President is free to sign this into law immediately, unless the motion requires more than or equal to a two-thirds (2/3) majority. If this is the case, or the President does not take this action, then the proposal goes to vote.
    3c) If opposition is shown, a vote is required on the motion.
    3d) For a vote or a motion to pass, a simple majority (equal to or above 51% of all votes cast) is required. A veto-proof majority is equivalent to three-fourths (75%) or greater voting in favor of a resolution.

    4) The President, or the 'Senior Consul' (highest-ranking official of the two-person 'duumvirate') serves as the Speaker of the Assembly. The Speaker, whomever currently fills this position, shall not vote in resolutions with the sole exception of breaking ties.

    5) Actions that require, without exception, a vote in the Assembly are as follows: Declarations of war on foreign entities; economic actions directed to an entire country (such as a sanction, quarantine, or blockade); modification of tax law; the revoking of an individual their citizenship without conviction; the downgrading or upgrading of relations with other empires; ratification of non-peace treaties and the declarations of states of emergencies. All of these require a two-thirds (67%) or greater majority to pass and do not count as changes to the Constitution.

    6a) Votes in the Assembly are cast in the official Republic of Zealia Discord Channel (overseen by a Mystian Network Staff Member)
    6b) Upon declaration of the vote, there must be a 24 hour period in which votes may be cast, by either using a "react" checkmark to vote in favor (yea/yay), or X to vote against (nay/no).
    6c) After conclusion of the vote, the current speaker of the Assembly (defined as either the President, or Senior Consul) declares the number of votes in favor (yea/yay) and in oppositon (nay/no), and lists all declared abstentions regardless of whether the vote passes or not.
    6d) Within twenty-four (24) hours of a Constitutional Ammendment being signed into law, the current Speaker of the Assembly must update the Republic of Zealia Forum Post with the new, ammended version of the constituion and sign it, at which point it will be signed by a staff witness.
    6e) if the speaker fails to perform this duty upon more than three (3) occasions, the Assembly may, at collective discretion, decide to try them for treasonous activity.



    1) The Governor of a city is the official in charge of the management and caretaking of day-to-day affairs within the city they manage.

    2) Actions and responsibilities specifically delegated to a Governor are as follows: The Governor may parcel land in their cities, enforce the law to the extent as permitted within this Constitution; manage the day-to-day operations of city government; and carry out any and all other delegated powers to them as prescribed by law.

    3) The Governor is freely appointed by the President of the Republic of Zealia and serves at the discretion of both the President and the Assembly.

    4a) If an individual wishes to become Governor of their city, they may make a motion to trigger an election (provided a gubernatorial election for this city has not already taken place within 2 weeks). This motion is automatically passed regardless of circumstance, and a gubernatorial election shall take place. Any individual who has been a citizen of the city for more than two weeks may choose to run in the election.
    4b) Incumbent Presidents cannot assume governorship of any city other than the Capital.

    5) Tasks undertaken by a Governor may not infringe upon the rights of the individual or of property except where applicable under Law.

    6) Upon becoming a governor an individual must release ownership of, or leave any non-governmental organizations/companies they were apart of/owned.



    1a) Secretaries are government personnel, and often perform multiple roles in their service to the Republic of Zealia.

    1b) An official's duties are as follows, regardless of official title: Law enforcement, settling internal disputes, basic nation management (i.e. switching groups for members, inviting members, switching a players' city, and other delegated responsibilities)
    1c) Official may also have special positions delegated by the President, the likes of which include but are not limited to: "Republican Military High Commander" (RMHC); "Secretary of State" (State Sec); as well as any other power which could be delegated to the Governor of a City in the Republic of Zealia. The President reserves the right to establish government positions and enumerate responsibilities so long as such actions do not violate Constitutional Law.

    2a) Secretaries are directly appointed by the President and require no approval process to ascend to this Position.
    2b) All Secretaries serve at the leisure of the President.
    2c) All dismissals require twenty-four (24) hours written notice.
    2b) When appointed, a Secretary's role must be declared by the President. The Secretary may not officially work beyond given role(s), however may work on them as any other citizen.
    2c) An official can work in any number of roles so long as they are able to be delegated, and there may be multiple officials working in a single role.
    3) Upon becoming a Secretary, an individual must release ownership of, or leave any non-governmental organizations/companies they were a part of/owned.
    4) There may not be more than one official per one non-government organization managing citizen of Zealia.
    5) When a new President comes into office, they may choose to retain any pre-existing officials and reshuffle these positions and their occupants as necessary.



    1) The Assembly shall deal with all manner of crimes and charges originating from anywhere within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Zealia, to be presided by the Justice.

    2a) Judicial nomination requires a vote of the Assembly, where everyone submits a name for the position of Justice.
    2b) The individual with the highest level of support among the Assembly is elected the Justice.
    2c) If there is a tie between multiple individuals, the process in Article 2a of this Section begins again.
    2d) If the individual nominated declines to take this position, the process in Article 2a of this Section begins again.
    2e) If this person accepts the nomination, then a vote is held in the Assembly. If they receive a simple majority vote in favor, they are elected to a week-long term as Justice. If this individual does not receive enough votes to be elected, then the process in Article 2a of this Section begins again.

    3) The National Court of Law shall be located within the Capital City.

    4) The Justice is is to interpret the Constitution and deliver the law, and shall handle any and all legal cases within Zealia. Trials within the Republic of Zealia shall be, on a normal basis, bench trials presided over by the Justice.

    5) The Justice has a legal obligation to act without bias in their proceedings and decisions.

    6) Upon becoming a Justice, an individual must release ownership of, or leave any non-governmental organizations/companies they were a part of/owned.



    1) A Presidential Term shall last for fourteen (14) days.

    2) A general election shall last for two (2) days. During this time the incumbent President remains the Head of State, Head of Government, and Governor of the Capital City.

    3) The President-elect is ceremonially inaugurated on the day after a general election for each concludes.

    4) The President is can serve as many terms as they wish, but must step down after three consecutive terms (or a maximum of two consecutive months in office) in an effort to preserve democracy and decentralize power. They may run again after one term of being outside of the office of President.

    5) In the event of the conviction or resignation of a Governor or President, a snap election will be held within the Assembly, and the winner of this Election serves the rest of their predecessor's term.

    6a) Impeachment brings charges against a specific elected official. The official is barred from voting on impeachment proceedings, though may speak in their defense if they so desire. A two-thirds majority (67%) or greater is required to impeach an elected or appointed official (and charge them with a crime).
    6b) Once an individual is impeached, they are brought to trial, and have all the rights of other defendants. If an individual is successfully found "guilty", they are convicted of the crime they were charged of, and are forcibly removed from their office, prohibited in perpetuity from holding another government office within the Republic of Zealia. Depending on the crime, they may be incarcerated.

    7) Potential eligible candidates for the position of President must announce their campaigns no later than two (2) days before an Election.



    1) All entities that are considered "for-profit" (including, but not limited to corporations and markets) originating and/or operating within the Republic of Zealia are subject to all laws and regulations within the Republic of Zealia and its Constitution.

    2) Domestic and foreign "for-profit" entities found to be engaging in treasonous activity, or to be breaking (or having broken) one or more laws intentionally for the purposes of monetary gain shall be punished along with their chief excecutive officer(s) as provided in the Zealite Penal Code.

    3) Engaging in dealings, business or otherwise, as a for-profit organization or an organization subsidized by the Zealite Government towards nations whose relations with the Republic of Zealia are "Wary", "Cold", or "Hostile", or engaging in trade with nations embargoed by the Republic of Zealia, allies of the Republic of Zealia, or the United Empires is strictly forbidden, will be considered "treasonous" and will be dealt with as provided in the Zealite Penal Code (Section II).

    4a) Nationalized entities shall serve the people, and their primary goal shall not be financial gain.
    4b) Employees of nationalized entities are state employees.

    5) Corporations based and founded within the Republic of Zealia may relocate to other empires, but all items being exported must be inspected. Any number of items under the possibility of exportation being deemed "excessive" by the President may freely be nationalized.

    6a) Taxes no lower than 10% and no higher than 30% may be levied upon resources obtained from mines or smelted at foundries by any individual.
    6b) Taxed items shall go towards state-owned storage to be distributed to citizens and non-profit entities as requested and as needed.
    6c) Taxes shall be imposed on the following resources at a rate of ten percent: Coal, Iron, Glass, and Shards.
    6d) Taxes shall be imposed on the following resources at a rate of twenty percent: Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Quartz, Gold, Emeralds, and Diamonds.
    6d) No other taxes shall be levied upon any other items or individuals.

    7) During states of declared warfare, the government may request use of a non-governmental organization's resources and/or collaboration with the non-government organization in an effort to advance the war effort, through a process known as "lend-lease". In the event the war ends in any type of victory for the Republic of Zealia, the Zealite Government has an obligation to pay back the leased items in full to the non-government entity the items were leased from.

    8a) The Government of the Republic of Zealia reserves the right to facilitate and negotiate international trade with any foreign entity with relations at "Wary" or better.
    8b) Trade with all nations with a relations level of "Cold" or lower is prohibited by law. Trade with all nations at a relations level of "Wary" is subject to increased scrutiny from the Zealite government.
    8b) The government may trade any items/ships/military hardware provided that they are not personal or private property.
    8c) The government may contract out trade deals or public construction efforts to Zealite companies or citizens, but not to foreign entities unless directly approved by the Assembly.
    8d) All contracts must be publicly available (i.e. Contracts must be offered to all citizens and corporations in a public place, and all citizens and companies may bid for the contract with the contract being awarded to the highest bidder.)
    8e) Failure to carry out a contract by any person or corporation will result in a fine between one thousand and one hundred thousand (1k-100k) coins depending on the fa.ctors such as the length of time service rendered was delayed as well as the value of the contract

    9) Non-governmental organizations (such as corporations) may not be nationalized without approval from their chief executive officer (CEO) or other analogous position. This right may be voided if Zealite laws are broken by a CEO or the non-governmental organization as a whole.



    1) The official name of the nation's military is the Republican Military Corps (RMC).

    2a) The Republic of Zealia shall maintain a periodic volunteer militia for peacetime defense purposes.
    2b) The Republic of Zealia shall maintain a conscripted standing army for wartime activities, both offensive and defensive.
    3) The President of the Republic of Zealia shall be recognized as the Supreme Commander of the Republican Military Corps.
    4a) The RMC shall be subdivided into two branches: The Republican Home Guard (RHG) and the Republican Expeditionary Forces (REF).
    4b) The RHG shall be tasked with defending the Homeland from foreign invasions and defending the lives and territory of Zealia.
    4c) The REF shall be tasked with offensive maneuvers in enemy or hostile territory and the pacification of said territory.
    5) An individual may partake in multiple branches of the military, up to and including both of them.
    6) Military regulations may be set freely in declaration(s) by the President.
    7a) The RMC may respond to military threats, including, but not limited to incursions of national sovereignty from pirates or nations with Cold or Hostile relations with the Republic of Zealia. The RMC may not battle foreign soldiers without a declaration of war. (Pirates are exempt from this legislation.)
    7b) The RMC shall respond to pirate activities on Zealite and/or allied territories with force.
    7c) The RMC and all pro-Zealite combatants are authorized to commandeer enemy vehicles and items from enemy combatants during states of war, and no Zealite or allied entity shall be charged for acts of piracy unless said acts are directed towards the government or the people of the Republic of Zealia and/or its friends or allies.



    1) All Craft (e.g. airships, planes, submarines, seafaring ships, tanks, and cars) must be named for identification purposes.
    2) All civilian owned seafaring vessels should have ZCS (standing for Zealite Civilian Ship) before the name of the ship. (All names should be located on the pilot sign for that ship)
    3) Civilian owned vessels should also have the name of their owner indicated on the pilot sign unless the name makes ownership apparent (e.g. "ZCS Fred's Yacht")
    4) Non-government organization-owned vessels must have the company initials or abbreviation before the name (e.g. "WWIS" for "West Western Industries Ship")
    5) All government owned seafaring craft should have RZS before the name (standing for Republic of Zealia Ship)
    6) For Land Vehicles, and Aircraft, these abbreviations should be changed to "RZMV" and "RZAF" accordingly (with "RZAF" standing for "Republic of Zealia Air Force" and "RZMV" standing for "Republic of Zealia Military Vehicle"; e.g. ZCS becomes RZMV for a land-based vehicle and RZAF for an aircraft.)



    1) The Constitution of the Republic of Zealia is the supreme law of the nation and all territories under its jurisdiction, as well as all acts and laws passed under it by the Assembly and the President.

    2) The Republic of Zealia declares all controlled territory as of the ratification of this Constitution and any territory acquired through peaceful means as sovereign territory, and recognizes no foreign claims to this territory with the exception of those established within foreign treaties of relations.

    3) The Republic of Zealia designates the City of Sarosune as its Capital City.

    4a) The Flag of the Republic of Zealia is designated as follows: A horizontal tricolor with the colors, from top to bottom, as follows: Orange, Blue, and Green.
    4b) The flag is to be flown upright at all times.

    5a) This Constitution can only be amended with a two-thirds majority in the People's Assembly.
    5b) The complete abolition of this Constitution, should one wish to propose such legislation, requires a unanimous vote among Government Officials and Civilians in the Assembly in favor of doing so.
    5c) Should the complete abolition of this Constitution occur, the Constitution of the Dominion of Aquilon would take its place and come into effect immediately and the merger of the Republic of Zealia and the Empire of Dathomir would be complete under the Constitutional Monarchy, using the aquilonian flag orange sun rising into light blue sky over lime field.


    This Constitution was ratified and adopted on 23 January 2020, and was last amended on 27 February 2020.
    All changes after most recent amendment date are only to fix typos. No other changes have been made.

    This Constitution was abolished on 27 February 2020, and in compliance with Section XII Article 5b of the Constitution of the Republic of Zealia, the geopolitical entity known as the "Republic of Zealia" and its government has ceased to exist.

    The "Dominion of Aquilon", a formal union between the nations of Dathomir and Zealia, is the domestically and internationally recognized successor state to both countries.
